This submission type is for our professional IIDA members - we are accepting submissions for the following categories: Learn, Work, Live, Engage, Heal, Innovate and Play!

CREATIVE INSTALLATION SUBMISSIONS

This submission type is for our industry IIDA members - to recognize manufacturers. We want you to show off your best and most successful installations that highlight the products you proudly represent!

STUDENT SUBMISSIONS

This category is for our student IIDA members - to show off your hard work on your projects and earn an opportunity to be recognized! New this year, all submitting student members will receive a free ticket to the awards ceremony!

Outstanding IIDA Member Award Nominations

We want to honor members of our IIDA community whose professional leadership and contribution of support, dedication, and participation over the course of their career has advanced and enriched the profession. Nominations can include Student, Associate, Professional, and Industry IIDA Members.

Meet the Jury

Ana Pinto-Alexander, FIIDA, EDAC, RID

Principal Emeritus, HKS

Ana Pinto-Alexander has over 38 years of experience in designing interiors for some of the most progressive facilities in the country. Ana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Purdue University. She has guest lectures at the university and continues to mentor aspiring designers. She is a board member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and holds a certificate from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. Ana has served as a juror for Healthcare Design magazine’s Architectural Showcase and Contract Magazine’s Healthcare Environment Awards. She has spoken nationally and internationally about the impact of the built environment on our lives. Her accolades include the 2013 “Legends IN Design” award, and she has been featured in several national publications, including a cover story for Interiors and Sources. In 2014, she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Purdue University, and in 2015, she was named one of the 25 most influential people in healthcare design by Healthcare Design.


In 2011, Ana's firm, Maregatti Interiors, which employed 22 people, was acquired by HKS, INC.

Casey Potash, IIDA, NCIDQ, LEED AP, RID

Senior Principal, SmithGroup

Casey Potash is a Senior Principal at SmithGroup and has 25 years of experience in the design field. Besides her everyday role as a Senior Project Manager in the Workplace Studio, she is also the Interior Design Discipline Leader for the Phoenix and Denver offices of SmithGroup, collaborating with her peers throughout the company and across all regions.  She has been involved with IIDA for the majority of her career: She most recently served as the Chair for the 30th Anniversary of the IIDA Southwest Chapter Awards. She also previously served on the Southwest Chapter Board as both the VP of Student Affairs for (1) term and (2) terms as President, winning the Outstanding Service Award in 2015.

Caroline Paris, IIDA, NCIDQ, LEED AP ID+C

Design Manager, Gensler

Caroline Paris is a NCIDQ Certified & LEED AP Design Manager within Gensler’s Denver office where she specializes in leading project teams for various practice areas including workplace interiors, workplace strategy, and lifestyle interiors. Prior to re-joining Gensler in 2024, Caroline worked as an Interior Designer in the Gensler DC office, an Interior Design Manager with Marriott International’s Global Design Americas, and as a Regional Applications Consultant with Steelcase. With 15 years of industry practice, her diverse range of experience allows her to stretch across multiple project typologies, bringing a depth of cross-pollinated expertise.

 

Caroline serves as the current President of the IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter managing a board of 29 outstanding volunteers. She is also passionate about design education, with teaching experience at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design and guest critic experience at Colorado State University, CU Denver, Pratt Institute, GW University and Marymount. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC and a Master of Science in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
