About the Event
IIDA Cincinnati Dayton is proud to announce its inaugural A Seat at the Table event, a public gathering designed to bring together local interior designers, architects, students, and creative professionals for an evening focused on design, sustainability, and advocacy. The event will provide an opportunity for members of the design community and the public to connect, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations around the future of design.
The event was inspired by the desire to create a new creative platform within our City Center following the departure of Product Runway. With A Seat at the Table, IIDA Cincinnati Dayton aims to reintroduce that spirit of creativity and collaboration while creating a meaningful space for dialogue and community engagement.
One of the highlights of the event is a design competition challenging participants to create an original chair using recycled, repurposed, or discarded materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill.…
