Inspire Me Series: Lifting Up Toledo - Part 2

Join us for Part 2 of our 2021 Inspire Me Series :: Lifting Up Toledo.

You are invited to join your A/D colleagues, as well as your Toledo neighbors, for a hands-on afternoon to better understand the mission of Toledo Design Collective (TDC), how important their work is in the city of Toledo and perhaps even uncover how your expertise and passion can be of benefit to the Junction Neighborhood.

During our time together, you can expect the following:

• IIDA State of the Union

Get a firsthand update on the ongoing initiatives of both your IIDA Toledo City Center and IIDA Ohio Kentucky Chapter

• Toledo Design Collective

Hear about how this non-profit, volunteer supported organization integrates itself into the communities that give Toledo the character that it has

• Junction Neighborhood Coalition

Learn more about how the ongoing efforts of the TDC are so closely intertwined with the individual neighborhood's coalition - a true grassroots effort!

• Planning/Programming Charette

Dive right in! Participate in a planning/programming charette to understand how a neighborhood's plan for rejuvenation comes to live

Maybe even start to see where you as a community member can start to contribute to the success of all

At the conclusion of our time together, you are invited to stay and observe as TDC presents their updated vision for this area of the Junction Neighborhood to the community members.
