The “Design for All” CEU by Shaw Contract explored how inclusive, purpose-driven design can enhance collective well-being in commercial environments. Framed through five key lenses—wellbeing, connection, learning, experience, and thriving—the course highlighted how design decisions influenced human health, social interaction, and environmental responsibility. It also provided practical strategies for applying inclusive design principles, including material and color choices, sustainability considerations, and creating spaces that foster belonging, resilience, and a more holistic user experience.
