Talent, passion and commitment to community abound in the Toledo City Center.
Just last week, the IIDA Toledo City Center and AIA Toledo collaborated for the first Toledo-centric 5 By Design virtual event and man oh man, do we ever have some talented and passionate community members.
Gathering via ZOOM, 50+ community members gathered to hear from five dynamic presenters:
Matthew Clarkson, AIA + Toledo AIA Emerging Professional of the Year 2020 Erin Curley, AIA, NCARB, LEED GA + AIA Ohio Emerging Professional of the Year 2020 Dwayne Gilliand, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP + Toledo AIA Architect of the Year 2020 Jennifer Hrosko, IIDA, CHID Jamie Tscherne, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C
As a group, we learned what makes these movers and shakers tick, from their family dynamics growing up, to their path to architecture & design studies and how they continue to focus that drive and passion in their work today.
It is safe to say listening to each of these presenters that without finding sources of constant inspiration in their daily lives, bringing fresh and dynamic ideas to their work would just not be as possible.
