IIDA Cleveland Akron was delighted to host another successful Zerolandfill event in early August! The A&D Industry has been staying busy - we SOLD OUT of bins and were able to divert thousands of pounds of materials from ending up in a landfill.
We hosted a successful weekend of community distribution days, and were able to connect with various crafters, teachers, and do-it-yourself-ers in our community! We are so grateful for our network for spreading the word for the continued success of this program.
Thank you to all participating firms for taking the extra effort to donate their samples, to all of our day-of volunteers for their heavy lifting, and to the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District for being a welcoming partner! And a HUGE thank you to JTC Installations for your continued support in the donation of a truck and manpower to help us - we could not host this program without you!
