IIDA Columbus Zero Landfill Pick-up and Drop-Off 2025

What is Zero Landfill?
Zero Landfill is a two-day, all-volunteer led, beneficial reuse program assisting the architectural and interior design community in identifying and collecting unused material samples. Thousands of pounds of materials are diverted from landfills and re-purposed by being offered to the public for their art projects, classrooms, DIY projects and more!

Thank You's All Around!
A huge thank you to King Business Interiors for hosting our event, Fortner for providing food and beverages for our volunteers, and Swatchbox for being present to talk with the A+D community and collecting left over materials!
Volunteers worked hard to unbox, sort, and organize the warehouse during our drop-off day. There was a lot of material to go through and they made it such a smooth process! Once the materials were in their places, the warehouse was opened to the public to come shop and find some new treasures. Attendance was well over 100 guests with some of our veteran pickers but also lots of new faces!

Not only are we proud of the talent our design community has to offer, but we are also extremely grateful for the support we receive from our volunteers, partners, consultants, manufacturers, dealers, contractors, and everyone else who has a hand in making these projects come to life!
Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to be among the first to learn about Zero Landfill 2026!
