IIDA Cleveland Akron enjoyed a one-of-a-kind backstage tour last week through some of Cleveland's most beloved gems, the Playhouse Square Theaters! After enjoying a little time to network with friends in the industry at Bin216, our group toured through the historic Allen, Ohio, and Palace theaters and stages. The educational session was led by Tom Einhouse, VP of Facilities and Capital for the Playhouse Square. His 40 years of experience completing renovation and historic preservation projects provided a wealth of information for our guests. Along with Tom, Charlie and Chris from DLR Group Westlake Reed Leskosky, shared design stories and fun facts from their experiences in the Playhouse Square renovations.
After all our pressing questions were answered on the tour, the evening wrapped up with our raffle winner, Eva Hawk receiving tickets to see the American classic, "To Kill a Mockingbird"!
