RECAP: Cin/Day The Hub X IIDA

We had a fun and informative night at the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub, known locally as The Hub. The evening started with sometime for networking during a happy hour where Alex Brewer, with Kimball International, presented information on how we can help support our community through volunteer efforts with The Hub. We then got a facility tour with Carrie Harms, Warehouse Director of the Hub. Carrie walked us through innovative ways we could increase our recycling behavior in not only our professional lives but throughout our whole day. She shared with us facts and data on earth saving initiatives that really brings into perspective all the ways we interact and affect the world around us. The night ended with more time for networking and chatting about how the new tips we learned could be implemented in active and future projects.
